Its really cool. I don't normally like FF games but this one is very different.
The DLC is generally not worth the extra points though, unless you've gotten really far into the game.

I'm on like Day 60 or 70 now.

Is it just like the other Crystal Chronicles?

No, its not.

You're the King of a land and you have to rebuild it while strategically sending adventurers and mages out to explore the world outside your castle.

I have wii points enough for it.
