Now you see, I think there's a certain amount of unneccessary vitriol being expressed in this argument. I think that it all boils down to A. Whether you can spell or punctuate in real life (for example, what I've seen of Gurl's posts suggests otherwise), B. How good or fast a typer you are, and C. How lazy you are. Now, as everyone who spells correctly on the internet will say, it very quickly becomes as easy (and over time easier) than "hey wut u up 2?", and so the laziness aspect seems slightly fallacious. But then again, it's quite possible that the reason people can still type correctly as fast as otherwise is because they are B. Good and fast typers. and A. Can spell and punctuate correctly.

Now, why anyone would become overly vexated by this is beyond me. Yes, the people who can't spell correctly have failed at life, but should we care? Can we not simply allow them to continue failing at life while we go on to better things?
